What is a bonus malus?

Bonus Malus is a system of insurance discounts. It is individual for each driver of the vehicle and affects the cost of the contract of civil liability. The bonus-malus class increases in case of accident-free driving, and decreases in case of an accident caused by the client's fault. Thus, the cost of OS PGO VTS decreases or increases depending on the bonus malus.

What influences the cost of insurance of the compulsory liability insurance?

The cost of the insurance policy is influenced by the accident-free coefficient - "bonus-malus". 

The "bonus-malus" system is a table that takes into account the accident rate of car owners:

The calculation of the class according to the "bonus-malus" system is made annually when purchasing an insurance policy.

М – this is the minimum class of accident-free, awarded to those who often become the culprit of an accident and those who buy the policy for the first time.

What documents are required for payment under the OPL agreement?

In case of an insured event, you need to collect a number of documents according to the list:

- Statement of the insured event;

- Application for the organization of the assessment;

- Tech. passport of the injured vehicle (copy);

- Power of attorney for the right to receive money (presented in the original), in the case when the owner does not apply for payment according to the registration certificate;

- Ud. identity (copy) of the beneficiary;

- Bank details (information about the beneficiary's account) for crediting funds;

- The decision of the Administrative Court, which entered into legal force, or the Judgment of the court (original);

- Property damage assessment report (drawn up by an insurance company);

- Application for insurance payment;

- Bank details (information about the beneficiary's account) for crediting funds.


In case of harm to life or health, the following are additionally provided:

- Sick leave / discharge summary, etc. (documents confirming harm to health as a result of an accident);

- Fiscal, sales receipts (original documents confirming incurred treatment costs);

- Certificate of the establishment of disability;

- Death certificate (notarized copy).

How long does it take to assess the damage after an accident under the MTC OGLO?

Vehicle inspection is carried out within 3 working days. The result is announced within 7 working days. The assessment of damage to the vehicle is carried out after a written application from the beneficiary.
